With the sport of triathlon on the verge of becoming a scholarship sport for university in 2015 it is sad to see seasoned athletes falling short of setting a good example to youth and junior athletes by following the rules, playing fairly and being a good sport. A cadet will not lie, cheat, steal or tolerate those who do. They are ignorant of the rules.

After a couple days, the inspiration is still alive and well inside me. I think about heat and the humidity and the effort both the athletes and volunteers put into making such an amazing event.
